Gutters and fascia
Overflowing gutters soak the fascia behind them. Replace rotten boards before new gutters or wrap go on.
Windows and siding
New siding is the easiest time to re-flash windows, and new windows need trim that ties into the siding. Coordinate the two scopes.
Chimneys and roofs
Chimney leaks often start at the flashing, which is roof work, while the brick and crown are mason work.
Older homes
Homes built before 1978 may have lead paint on trim and windows. Hire EPA lead-safe certified firms for work that disturbs paint.

Should I replace gutters before or after a new roof?
Usually after, or at the same time. Roofers install drip edge and sometimes remove gutters during a tear-off, so coordinating both avoids paying to hang gutters twice.
Can one contractor do roofing, siding, gutters and windows?
Many exterior contractors do, and others subcontract. Ask who performs each part and who warranties it.
Do these tools work for commercial buildings?
The gutter, siding, fascia and window tools work for small commercial buildings. For larger properties use the commercial exterior intake.
